A meeting of district council was organised in the head of district council president Jaywanti Bhagat at Abhilasha hall. The review of several departments was taken there.
In the review of ITDA it was seen that water collection irrigation plan was started at lohardaga, Kuru and
Kairo block. The fund was withdrawn from the department. But the work was not seen in progress. A probe committee was set up to look into the matter.
In review of MNREGA plan it was known that the old wells were renewed as new. Vice president Maneer Oraon told to set up a committee and probe into it. It was said that under Peshrar Action Plan the plans are being executed but the actions are not seen at ground level.
The sarees, dhoties and other clothes are not being distributed to the poor.
The distributions of these must be assured before 15th of August in review of Cooperative department it was seen that only grains of the farmers are being bought with subsidy rate by lampas only.
The agriculture department doe not submit any proposal of the agriculture. The agricultural officer was given show cause for this.
In the meeting ITDA director DD Oraon, SDO Ravi Shankar Shukla, DEO Urmila Kumari, DSE Prabala Khes, COs and BDO of all the blocks and official from several departments were present.
