A meeting of officials of all Departments took place in the Suchna Bhavan auditorium of Hazaribagh in which discussions were made on the programmes to be organised on and before Independence Day. Time of Flag Hoisting in different offices and other programmes were fixed in this meeting chaired by DC Ravi Shankar Shukla.
like previous years this year too the main programme will be organised in the premises of Hazaribagh main stadium were at 9:05 am flag will be hoisted. After the conclusion of main program in the stadium National flag will be hoisted in different offices, times for flag hoisting in different offices was fixed in this meeting.
In this meeting it was decided to organise a harmony run which will start from the base of Canary Hill and will end in the stadium premises. Officials were given the task to invite the representatives of educational institutions to participate in this run. It was also decided that police and NCC cadets will perform the duty of giving salute to the national flag and for it they will make rehearsals from 10th August onwards.
On 15th August evening a cultural program based on the freedom struggle movement and different folk cultures of the nation will be organised in town hall. On Independence Day morning the students of different schools and colleges will come out from their premises to participate in the prabhat pheri which will conclude in stadium premises by 7:30 am.
Almost all the officials of district and police administration were present in this meeting. DC instructed the officials to instruct the block administrations to prepare plans for Independence Day and to insure maximum participation of denizens in the programs.
