A review meeting on pension schemes which included widow pension, pension for differently-abled and old-age pension schemes was conducted on Friday along with the status of food security. The meeting was chaired by Mayor Asha lakra along with Ranchi DC Manoj Kumar. All the ward councilors were present in the meeting.
“The meeting was about the pension schemes. The last date to submit the application forms for all the three schemes have been decided. Till March 7, the applicants can submit forms to Sub-divisional Officer (SDO) office with all the valid documents. Applicants can also consult their respective ward councillors for any further query related to pension schemes,” said the Mayor.
“Apart from the pension schemes, another important subject of discussion was distribution of the ration among the beneficiaries. It has been figured out to follow a uniform pattern of ration distribution under the food security norms. After the proper installation of bio-metric system at demarcated areas, the distribution pattern can be changed,” added lakra
The DC has assured all help and assistance to the beneficiaries, if they avail proper documents and fulfills all norms.
