The martyrs of Dharhariya incident were paid tributes by SP Mrityunjay Kumar and many officials.Five jawans of district police force and six of CRPF sacrificed their lives on May 3, 2011.lalchik Baraik, Rajesh Kachhap, Pramod Kumar Rai, Chandrasekhar Singh and Dinesh Mahto were included in the list of martyrs. Others, 60 jawans also got injured in the incident.The SP said, “The martyrdom of the jawans will not go in vain. Police will provide the security to common public.”In the occasion DSP Krishna Kumar, Inspector Narendra Mohan Sinha, thana-in-charge Sudhir Kumar Sahu, Nand Kishor Prasad and many police jawans were present.
