A case of rape was registered at the Pachamba police station,Giridih. According to reports, an electrician of the same village was accused of going to a house in the afternoon on Monday and raping a married woman over there.
At the time of the incident, the woman’s husband, father in law and mother in-law were out for work. The electrician had even threatened the housewife. Later a complaint was lodged at the Pachamba police station by the family members of the victim. The victim has said that the electrician entered the house and pushed her to the couch whe she was feeding her baby and started the physical torture on her.Based on the complaint, the police arrested Pradesh Sur alias Vikram. The police are trying to figure out whether there are any pending cases in the name of the culprit. On the basis of the application, the police is engaged in investigating the entire case Sources said that when attempts were made to settle the rape case by setting up a panchayat in the village and the victim's father-in-law was also assaulted by the accused and his relatives. Currently, the injured father-in-law is undergoing treatment at Sadar Hospital in Giridih.
