In a major narcotic haul, the Bokaro police seized a consignment of marijuana, which was being smuggled, two were arrested in this connection, informed B Das SDPO Chas.
“The arrested were identified as Binod Kumar (49) and Sarover Kumar (32) both are the residents of Chas. Around 10 kilograms ‘ganja’, valued of rupees about 1.20 lakhs in the international market were seized from their possession. They were found ferrying it,” added the SDPO.
Working on a tip-off Bokaro Police intercepted a motorcycle (JH09E 2158) near Dharamshala More Chas and a search led to the seizure of 10 kgs ‘ganja’ kept hidden inside a jute bag.
