Marandi's justice march reaches Koderma

JVM supremo Babulal Marandi took out the third phase of nyaya yatra (justice march) on Friday at Koderma, stepping up the party’s offensive against the BJP rule both in the State and the Centre. The former Chief Minister started the justice march from Jawahar Talkies Jhumaritelaiya and ended at Shram Kalyan Kendra Premises where he  addressed a small gathering, urging them to be wary of the ruling party’s wokings.

Marandi said, “Though the nyaya yatra was essentially planned to expose the alleged horse-trading by the BJP after six of JVM MlAs joined the ruling combine, the regional outfit has now shifted focus on an array of burning issues to strike a chord with common people.”

“The nyaya yatra is also aimed at creating a public opinion on those six legislators who had won the elections on party’s tickets but later joined the BJP. Obviously they changed the party for money and power, insulting the people’s mandate. The Important object of march is to create awareness about the misrule of the BJP,” he added.

Marandi, who later addressed a party workers’ meeting at a Shram Kalyan Kendra’s  hall, directed JVM members to reach out to people across the state and tell them how the BJP-led Governments in the Centre and in the state had been duping them. Narendra Modi Government is about to complete one year in office but none of his promises has come true yet, Babulal added.

“The prices of almost all essential commodities have gone up in the past one year, adding to the woes of common people. However, the net profit of Ambanis has shot up to crores,” Marandi claimed. Bedu Saw, District President anchored the programme, Saba Ahmad, Khalil Khalid, Arshad Khan, Suresh Yadav, also addressed the gathering.
