In the bauxite mines area of Bagru Chapi Patt of Kisko block, suspected Maoists set ablaze over 17 trucks. According to locals around 3:30 pm about 50-60 Maoists attacked the trucks and put the vehicles on fire.
The vehicles included one JCB and one compression machine. The Maoists swiftly fled towards the jungle after burning the trucks that are used for ferrying bauxite.
lohardaga SP Manoj Ratan Chothe said, “The Maoists had burnt the trucks at 3:30 afternoon. The Police has already begun the investigation and search is on to arrest the culprits.”
