A group of armed Maoists activists on Monday evening slit the throats of one villager in Khudisar panchayat under the Dumari police station for allegedly being police informer. The deceased has been identified as Dinesh Hembrum (25) and killing took place in forest area of Murkundo village in Giridih district. The body has been taken for post-mortem.
The police recovered parchas from the spot stating that Hembrum was police informer and collecting levy in the name rebel group. According to reports about 4-5 armed miscreants raided Murkundo football ground at 5 pm on Monday when Dinesh Hembrum was selling tea in the ground where foot match was going on. The Maoists took away Dinesh Hembrum forcibly from the ground and was taken to dense forest of Murkundo, one of their strongholds and cadres silt the throat of Dinesh .
Before leaving the place of occurrence, they threw pamphlets and hand written posters which say that moves to punish police informer working against the interest of CPI(Maoists). local villagers revealed that Dinesh had allegedly been covertly sympathising with Maoist activists but recently had fallen out .”Apparently irked over his decision to part with the organization cost Hembrum his life.
This is third such incident in past forty five days in which the Maoists have killed three villagers in Giridih .On July 2 the extremists killed one villager namely Deepak Hansda at Kolharia village under the Madhuwan police station .After that on same date Maoists killed one another villager Dumka Murmur at home village Dengapahari.
