CPI Maoists led by Chhotu Kharwar damaged solar panel and solar battery of the BSNl tower at Hetha Toli under Garu police station on Sunday night said SP latehar Anoop Birtharey.
latehar SP said the Maoists did this as their diversionary tactic since security forces are out in Garu areas in their anti naxal operation. The forces are scouring the jungles of Baree bandh in Garu police station.
The Maoists are trying hard to cling to Garu as if this land is wrested from them the Maoists will have no safe inch left for them in latehar.
The Maoists are already ‘homeless’ from Saryu Koney which some one year back was considered as the impregnable citadel of the Maoists. The setting up of he forward security posts in their so called Red Soil has rendered the Maoists gasping for space said sources.
