In a combine operation of latehar district police and CRPF, the security forces captured an area commander of CPI Maoist Baleshwar Yadav at Beeyang village under Manika police station said the SP latehar Anoop Birthraey.
According to latehar SP Birtharey, the area commander had cases in three police stations in latehar district. Yadav has two cases in Barwadeeh police station two in Manika and one in latehar.
All cases are of heinous nature. It includes encounters with the security forces and blasting of IEDs with the purpose of harming the security forces.
Birtharey said Yadav was a part of Katiya genocide of security forces engineered by the Maoists. On being asked if Yadav put up any resistance Birtharey said “No. He just came in and our boys got him.”
He was in his home at Beeyang village where he had come on leave for treatment of his ailing wife Birtharey added. He was in plainclothes and sans any weapon.
However, the security forces erred not at all in identifying him and caught. Yadav was remanded in judicial custody on Saturday in latehar. The new year just started with one area commander of CPI Maoists being pushed behind the bars said sources.
Sources said Birtharey goes about his anti naxal drive with as much of silence as one can imagine. Security forces have thus cornered many a killer of Kateeya.in which 13 security personnel were made to die a painful death.
