A CPI (Maoist) Sub-Zonal Commander Kundan Ganjhu was nabbed from Kudu bazaar, lohardaga on Tuesday. He was taken to the media on Monday at SP office.
SP Mrityunjay Kumar said, “Police had been informed secretly that the Maoist has come to the place in view of casting some big event. The naxalite was arrested by a team in the head of Kudu Thana in-charge.”
“Kundan Ganjhu, son of Jagcharan Ganjhu of Sarna Toli Bhari, Chnadwa, latehar is expert in bomb making and executing the plans. He had worked with some other naxalites as Ravindra Ganjhu, Vishal Ji and Nakul Yadav”, added the SP.
SP said further, “Kundan Ganhju is expert in bomb and ID making. He was included in Bhandaria case, Dhardharia bomb explosion and explosion of several bridges by pipe bomb.”
The arrested moist said, “The Maoists, Ravindra Ganjhu, Nakul Yadav and Vishal keep latest arms. He is my maternal brother. Vishal had visited with me in Chhattisgarh at the time of election.”
The moist also gave informations of the other naxal squads. He told some names of the people who give the informations of the police to the naxalites. He was included in the squad when the squad had come in his village to solve out a problem of conflict. He worked actively and got promoted to the sub-zonal commander.
SP said, “The people giving informations of the police would be sent behind the bars if they would not amend themselves. Police keeps strict vigil upon each activity of the naxalites. They would not be succeeded. The public should consider the police as friend and come forward to help.
Police would keep the names of the informer secret. Police conducts the raid in rural areas regularly. As well police try to do philanthropy by social policing. The moists should surrender themselves and join the main stream of the development. By the way the arrest of the sub zonal commander has become the applaud for the police.
