Sub zonal commander of CPI (Maoist) Balak Kherwar alias Bhagat surrendered with other three accomplices in front of DIG AV Homekar, DC Binod Kumar, SP Karthik S and the commandant CRPF 158 battalion here on Wednesday.
Police told that Balak Kherwar had a reward of Rs 5 lakhs on his head. State police is making effort to bring back the Maoists into main stream under the surrender policy Nayi Disha.
