Ranka police have arrested one levy collector of Maoists Babu lala Oraon at village Bishrampur tola Baskatiya under same police station on Thursday. Police also recovered levy money of Rs69500/-from him.
According to Garhwa SP Sudhir Kumar Jha, acting on a tip off Ranka police and CRPF raided the house of Babulal Oraon and arrested him. Police also recovered levy money of Rs69500/- , a mobile phone, a diary and Maoists pamphlet.
Arrested Maoist Babulal confessed before the police that on the direction of Vishal Ji sub-zonal commander of Maoist , he has taken Rs1000,00/- levy to a contractor namely Subhas Gupta a resident of Godarmana for contract of Bhauri to Tisiya road. On the direction of Vishal Ji he has made payment Rs30000/- to Zonal Commander Jeetendra Korwa while Rs 15000 was paid to Ijhar Ansari at village Dudhwal and Rs5000/- to Bablu Thakur in Garhwa Jail.
Arrested Maoist also confessed that he has also taken Rs100000/- to contractor Mukesh Sinha for Hurdag Jolanga road."I had joined the Maoists group in 2008 and went jail in two times," he confessed. Garwa SP said that police will take action against who paid levy money to the extremists. Police have entire lists among which persons, who how much money paid to extremists.
SP appealed to the contractors if any extremists group are demanded money then they come before the police. Police will help them and also their names secret. Police available full security also.
