The body of a 57-year-old man was found in a vacant plot at Harno village under Chandwara PS on Friday morning. The body was found on the plot behind the residence of the deceased. The body has been identified as Basudeo Rajak an employee of Drinking water and sanitation department and was posted at Urwan Pump House as a pump operater. On information Harilal Yadav, Deputy SP, Harinandan Prasad, Chandwara Police Station incharge rushed to the spot. Dog squad from Hazaribagh reached the site and examined all around but nothing has been found as of yet. Police have recovered the body and has sent it for autopsy to Sadar hospital Koderma. A case has also been registered. Further investigation will be done after getting the postmortem report.
Birjoo Rajak, son of deceased told. “My father went to bank yesterday (Thursday) and we found his dead body today (Friday) from the field behind our residence. We contact him lastly at 8 pm yesterday (Thursday) and he told that he is on way but later then we tried to contact him on his mobile but he didn’t receive the call.”
