One person identified as Mukesh Turi was shot at near Bansjora coal mines weighbridge by two bike borne borne persons. The incident spot is under Kenduadih police station. This happens to be the second incident of shootout in this area within two days in which supporters of former minister and senior congress leaderJaleshwar Mahto and Baghmara MLA Dhullu Mahto.
Mukesh was shot on his head from close range and was admitted to SNMCH first but was referred to RIMS, Ranchi by the hospital in critical condition for better treatment.
Mukesh happens to be a supporter of Jaleshwar Mahto and has been allegedly shot at by a supporter of Baghmara MLA. Police have detained two persons in this connection.
DSP Arvind Sinha who reached on the spot said that police are interrogating the suspected people in connection with the shooting incident.
