A 52-year-old Bokaro Steel Plant’s employee was arrested by the police for sexually exploitating a teenage girl (14) under Jaridih police station in Bokaro. An FIR was filed in the local police station and police arrested Arun Tiwary. During the medical check-up, doctors found out that the minor is pregnant (28 weeks).The girl is an orphan, she along with her brother was residing with Arun as a domestic helper. Furious over the incident villagers caught Tiwary, thrashed him and later handed him over to the police. In a panchyat meet, the girl revealed that she was sexually exploited by Arun for the past two years. “Our investigation is on, arrangements have been made to keep the minor in an orphan house”, said A Vijayalaxmi SP Bokaro.
