A man was convicted and awarded ten years of Rigorous Imprisonment (RI) by the district court Bokaro for sexually harassing a girl for few years at Bokaro.
District and Session Judge- II of Bokaro Court Janardhan Singh convicted Raja Rajwar (23) a resident of Chandankiyari under Bhojudih OP of Bokaro district and awarded him 10 years RI and Rs two lakh fine.
lured over to marry her, the offender raped the girl repeatedly since after they meet in a marriage ceremony in the year 2014. As the girl conceived and Rajwar denied her to marry she filed a case in 2016 at the local police station.
“The offender first coaxes the girl, promised to marry her and made sexual relation with her. It continued several times and the girl got pregnant. later he denied marrying then the victim filed a case at Chas Mufassil police station,” said RK Rai, advocate of the district court. The girl has a two year old child.
