Advocate Avneesh Ranjan Mishra, son of late Prof. BK Mishra, resident of East Gandhi Maidan, Matwari, reported a major theft case to the police that occurred in his house.
In his report Mishra claimed a theft of Rs5 lakh cash, ornaments of more than Rs10 lakh and other items.Advocate Mishra had gone to Ranchi with his family members two days ago for the treatment of his mother. On Saturday when they came back, they found the locks of main gate and inner doors broken. Inside the rooms, things were scattered. The locker of their cupboard was also broken and it was empty.
Sadar police has registered a case and has started the investigation.Police has taken two ex-tenants of Mishra in custody on the basis of suspicion. Mishra has reported that Chandan Pandey and Rakesh Pandey were his tenants till June and when his father expired Mishra told them to vacate.
