From tree plantation drive to distributing saplings calendars with message on environment, the die-hard fan of the Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit's Pappus Sardar will celebrate his idol's birthday in a special way. like previous years this year, he will cut the ceremonial ‘green’ cake but will spread message of ‘Environment Conservation’ on May 15 midnight.
Concern over the rising global warming, Pappus has devotedly taken on the onus of raising awareness on issues of environment. He informed that a calendar starting from May 15 dedicated to Madhuri has been especially design with a message on environment protection. A tree plnation drive will be organised at Jusco, Sheetala Mandir and Sakchi police station premises.
like every year, Pappus would spend also his time on May 14 among the inmates of the Cheshire Home and Old Age Home, who are special invitees on this occasion. He would distribute fruits and gifts to the inmates.
“I am concern about depleting environment . I have taken this opportunity to spread my concerns. This year people coming for celebration will not only get free eateries but also saplings to help them spread greenery in and around the city,” noted Pappus. Pappus has been celebrating Dixit's birthday since 1996. His dedication to the star has no limits.
