Pappu Sardar, the man known for his love for Madhuri Dixit, has contributed Rs 11,000 to the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund for flood-hit Chennai.

In the name of the former cine star, Pappu deposited the amount for Prime Minister’s National Relief fund (A/C No-0153000100909701) at Punjab National Bank, Sakchi Branch.

Sardar said that he was touched by the heavy rains and flood so he decided to contribute in the name of Madhuri Dixit. “I know it’s just a small amount towards helping the relief work. But I am confident that others will also be inspired. My idea is to inspire the people to join hands and meet the challenges,” he noted.

Pappu is known for celebrating Madhuri’s birthday since mid-90s and shot into the limelight for his attraction towards the actress. In 2008 he even got the opportunity to meet Madhuri. Such is his popularity that an American student carried a research on his personality.

“She is my idol, no one could stop me from serving the society, which is closer to my heart than any thing else in my life,” said Pappu.
