long queue to ride on Modi wave

After the victory of Maharashtra and Haryana, it has been proved that the Modi wave which started during last parliamentary poll is still strong. With the announcement of election dates of Jharkhand assembly, the race for Russian Hostel, Ranchi, has begun and like other places in Hazaribagh too there is a long queue of aspirants who want to surf safely on Modi wave.

According to sources on October 28, a team of senior leaders from Ranchi is coming to Hazaribagh to know the opinion of the workers of the district which will help in choosing candidates from all 6 assembly constituencies of Hazaribagh parliamentary segment.

Though the race for ticket was on since the conclusion of parliamentary polls but now the heartbeat of the aspirants is at its all time high because the countdown has begun.

This time it is almost certain that from Hazaribagh, Barkagaon, Mandu and Ramgarh some new faces are going to get BJP’s ticket.

Rush of aspirants is for every seat but the most hot one in talks is Hazaribagh Sadar seat. Saurav Narayan Singh of Congress is holding this seat since last two elections so common people are also interested to know the name of BJP’s candidate from Hazaribagh this time. More than a dozen names are in talks. One name is of party’s spokesperson Sanwarmal Agrawal. It is said that he had shifted his headquarter from Hazaribagh to Ranchi two years ago keeping in view the coming election and it has become both a plus and minus point for him.

Ex-Vice Chairman of Municipal Council Manish Jaiswal is also in race. He has a good following and is also strong monetarily but the negative is that he is new in BJP. He was in JVM till last year and still the local BJP workers are not feeling well connected with him. Another name is of Chairman of Municipal Council Anjali Kumari. She has won the council election twice. long association with BJP and closeness with Rishabh Vatika are her positives but controversial first term as Chairman and claim on Simariya seat as an alternate goes against her.

From ABVP to Sanskar Bharti via RSS Sadwal Kumar is also trying his best to represent Hazaribagh. He is young and by profession a journalist are his positives but still he is not an active member of BJP and the past differences with Rishabh Vatika can go against him. More than 10 years ago Prof. BP Rukhaiyar stepped in BJP through ABVP.

A silent worker of both BJP and Sangh is also in good books of Rishabh Vatika. Uncontroversial figure and being a key figure of BJP’s local election war room are his positives while belonging to the same caste of MP Jayant Sinha and lack of money power are his negatives.

Vivekanand Singh, Bhaiya Abhimanyu Prasad, Prakash Dayal, Prof. Surendra Sinha, Tunnu Gope, Rajkumar lal and others are also said to be in race.
