A national lok Adalat organised at the premises of behavioral court was jointly inaugurated by chief district and session judge Vishnukant Sahay, DC Manjunath Bhajantri and SP Manoj Ratan Chothe. A total of three Benches were set up to look into the different cases.
Here land acquisition case related to Tori train route was solved and accordingly a cheque of Rs1,11,74,585 was handed over to 30 beneficiaries. In the Adalat the cases of pre-litigation, revenue, mutation, registration, transport, business tax, MGNREGA and electricity. 41 cases of land acquisition, 36 cases of revenue, 87 cases of registration, 779 cases of transport, 26 cases of business tax, five cases of MGNREGA and 3 cases of electricity were dissolved. A total of 1077 cases were dissolved here.
On the occasion DJ1 Anil Kumar, Secretary Gulam Haidar, president of Baar association Pramod Kumar Pujari, secretary Ajay Kumar Mittal, AC Awdesh Pandey, SDO Saurabh Kumar Sinha, and many other officials were present.
