The different schemes and plans of District Committee are being implemented at the ground level and the district is proceeding in the path of development, said Jaywanti Bhagat, the president of District Committee talking to the media persons.
She said, “The district committee had decided to implement 273 policies from 2010-11 to 2012-13 of a total estimate of `2,629.864 lakh, that has been made possible by the mutual efforts of vice-president Maneer Oraon, all the members of District Committee, executives and the mukhiyas of al the panchayats.”
“In these 273 policies the constructions of bridges, RCC bridges, guard walls, Angan Badi centres, and PCC roads are included. These constitutes 23 plans estimated of 236.557 lakh of Sadar block, 32 plans estimated of 369.427 lakh of Kisko block, 369.427 lakh of Kisko block, 26 plans estimated of 359.959 lakh of Peshrar block, 50 plans estimated of 678.741lakh of Kudu block, 12 plans estimated of 153.230 lakh of Kairo block, 14plans estimated of 193.383 lakh of Bhandra block, 53 plans estimated of 403.241 lakh of Senha block and 27 plans estimated of 235.328 lakh of municipal area,” she furnished the data.
She added, “Shops had been constructed in Bhandra block at an estimate of 25 lakh by 13th economical commission. likewise in Kudu block shops had been built at two sites at an estimate of 9 lakh. Besides it to give employment to the youth many shops are being constructed at each block worth `10 lakh for each.” “On December 28, from Nagjua railway gate situated at Narouli panchayat of Kairo block to Bartoli the construction of a PCC road has been started. As well a blue print of 150 plans under BRGF in the economical year 2013-14 has been completed that will be submitted to all the members in the next meet,” she concluded.
