AJSU party and Chhotanagpuria Teli Utthan Samaj called a bandh against the murder of Tileshwar Sahu. The bandh remained effective as vehicles of long routes did not ply. Shops remained closed.
The bandh supporters were carrying rounds in city and forcing to shops to shut down. Bus stand and petrol pumps also remained closed. The district head of Teli association Prof Shiv Dayal Sahu, Balram Sahu, Radha Raman Sahu, Almin Ansari, Om Bharti, Suraj Agarwal and many leaders said that this was the murder of democracy. Earlier an effigy of CM Hemant Soren was burnt at the Plamerganj Chowk as soon as they got the news of murder on Saturday.
