lobin Hembrom, awarded as the distinguished legislator by Jhakrhand Vidhan Sabha on Friday, donated the award money of Rs 51,000 to a three-year girl blind girl who had recently lost her mother and father.
Sumitra Murmu, hailing from Paharpur in Sahebganj, was born blind and lived with her old age grandmother in Paharpur. lobin had met the child some 15 days back and decided to adopt her there only. “I have adopted the girl and will pay the fees of her school and the award money which I just got will be fixed in her name to be used in future after me,” said lobin. He also said that the legislators must maintain dignity in the House and fulfill their responsibilities towards their constituencies. Expressing satisfaction over the award given, lobin said he has full confidence in the CM.
