Two youths were killed one injured after struck by lighting at Chataniadih village under the Gawan block of the district, about 100 km from here on Monday afternoon. All three brothers namely Ramchander Yadav, Virendra Yadav and Umesh Prasad Yadav, who worked as agriculture at their field at Chataniadih village .Two of them Ramchander and Virendra, were burnt to death after struck by lighting, police sources said.
Police sources said that one other identified as Umesh Prasad Yadav was also injured following which he was admitted at Koderma sadar hospital.
According to reports coming in ,all three youths of a family belonging to Chataniadih village under the Gawan block of the district were working in the field at 2pm on Monday .Sources said that soon after it started running at around 2pm ,the all three brothers were doing some work in the field .A little later ,the youths were hit by a thunderbolt and before anyone could run ,the lighting stroke claimed lives of two brothers and injured one .In state of unconsciousness ,rushed to the hospital where his condition is stated to be critical .
