In two separate incidents lightning claims one life in Bokaro district while one severely injured after lightening struck.
Surji Vaske (20), resident of Daridag Panchyat under Gomia block died while Aklu Mahato resident of Siyaljori sustained burn injuries due to lightening struck, police said.
At that time duos were in field, Durji died on the spot while Aklu immediately rushed to the hospital with the help of locals. According to the hospital sources his condition is said to be critical.
Notably, every year lightning claims 50 to 60 lives in Jharkhand.
