A training-cum sensitisation workshop was organised for designated liasoning Officers from Industries, Mines and Geology Department who would support the visitors at the Momentum Jharkhand Global Investors’ Summit being organised at Khel Gaon on February 16-17, 2017.
Director, Industry Department, K Ravi Kumar emphasized on prospective role of liasoning Officers during the preparation of GIS. Every detail was discussed in length pertaining to summit which may be helpful in bolstering spirit conducive to investment in Jharkhand. He also detailed about the responsibilities of liasoning Officers towards the logistic arrangement during Global Investors Summit.
Mukesh Kumar, State Project Director, Sarv Shiksha Abhiyan-cum-OSD, Department of Industries, Mines & Geology, mentioned that liasoning Officers will be instrumental in projecting the state’s image as first point of contact. Since it is the first time that the summit is being organized in the state, we all should take pride in supporting the summit and put out best to project the state’s efforts in right perspective. He also instructed liasoning Officers to update their knowledge towards investment initiatives undertaken by the government.
About 150 officers from Department of Industry, Mines and Geology participated in the workshop. Issues related to good etiquettes, standard procedures to coordinate with the visiting delegates and internal team coordination were discussed in details. Queries from officers were resolved in the workshop. Next round of training is expected in the coming week.
