Under the aegis of Jharkhand State Legal Services Authority, Ranchi, a district level programme on legal services cum empowerment was organised in the State capital District Legal Services Authority and Ranchi district administration on February 6 at Ratu. DLSA Chairman cum Judicial Commissioner Navneet Kumar and Deputy Commission (DC) Ranchi Chhavi Ranjan distributed materials and assistance amongst the beneficiaries.
Many welfare schemes including Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Laxmi Yojana were given to the beneficiaries. On the occasion, DALSA chairman and the DC also did the muhjutthiceremony for children. The DC also purchased products made by women from self- help groups.
During the camp beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna were given home entrance kits, acceptance letters.Mukhyamantri Kanyadan Yojana, Sukanya Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Matri Vandana Yojana, distribution of forest rights lease, distribution of old age pension, distribution of green ration card, distribution of pant- shirt to workers of labour department, MNREGA job cards and soil testing health card was also done.
Stalls of legal service cum empowerment were also set up through which people were informed about the various public welfare schemes.
