On Sunday morning in a tragic incident, three members of a family got seriously burnt when fire broke out in their house due to a leaking lPG cylinder. It happened in Urmila Apartment Matwari.
In the morning, house owner Birendra Singh was replacing cylinder in his kitchen. His wife and a nephew were there. After fitting the new refill as he moved out of kitchen a fire broke out. His wife Pratibha Singh got serious burns while he and his nephew also get burnt.
The neighbour of his flat immediately controlled the fire with the help of fire extinguisher fitted in the building.
All three were brought to Sadar Hospital. His wife was reffered to Bokaro and from there to Ranchi. Treatment of Birendra Singh and his nephew is going on in Sadar Hospital Hazaribagh.
