More than hundred people from Congress, JMM and RJD joined BJP in front of BJP State President and former Chief Minister Babulal Marandi at the party office. Babulal Marandi welcomed and congratulated everyone wearing their party flag.
On this occasion, MLA CP Singh and state spokesperson Saroj Singh were also present.
Saroj Singh got the membership online. The program was conducted by state media in-charge Shivpujan Pathak and the vote of thanks was given by Laxman Ram.
On this occasion, Latehar BJP District President and former MLA Harikrishna Singh, Dayanand Yadav, Omprakash Gupta, former MLA Heera Ram Toofani were also present.
Those who took membership included hundreds under the leadership of Manika District Council member Balwant Singh, former Garu Block District Council member Shilpa Kumari, former Manika Block Chief Gayatri Devi and former Garhwa District Congress President and former State General Secretary of Congress Arvind Kumar Toofani.
Addressing the program, Marandi, these people have rejected the Indie Alliance. Making a big attack on the Hemant government of the state, he said that the state government is completely involved in corruption. There is looting everywhere. Mines, minerals, sand stones, coal and land are being looted. Middlemen are flourishing under the patronage of power.
He said that the Chief Minister kept running away due to ED action. Now they are taking decisions from the cabinet as if Jharkhand is a separate country where the laws passed by the Parliament of India are not applicable.
He also targeted those officials who prepare such proposals for the cabinet which are against the Constitution.
He said that the law is not afraid of running away or intimidating others. Corrupt people will have to come before the law.
Marandi said that instead of the corrupt Chief Minister of the state, Hotwar is now in jail and he is completely safe there.
He said that JMM is a sellable party which sold the movement in the state. It has nothing to do with the people of the state. JMM, Congress and RJD are only concerned about family and money.
He said that Jharkhand as a separate state is the gift of BJP. And the development that is visible has been done by BJP governments.
He said that under the leadership of Atal Bihari Vajpayee, the dream of a separate state came true. Villages were connected to the city through the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana. Traffic was made easier by building bridges and culverts.
Today the Modi government is connecting villages, poor, farmers, tribals, Dalits, backward women and youth with the mainstream of development. Many welfare schemes like PM Awas Yojana, Ujjwala Gas Yojana, Ujala Yojana, Jan Dhan Account, Ayushman Card, PM Vishwakarma Yojana, Kisan Samman Nidhi have made the lives of the village poor happy. Free 5 kg ration is being delivered every month to 80 crore people.
