The land mafia have looted more than 1.25 lakhs acre at Hazaribagh but neither has any party protested it, nor did anyone demand any enquiry into this scam.

This was said by State secretary of Communist Party of India, Ex-MP, Bhuwaneshwar Prasad Mehta at party’s office, Majoor Bhawan.

Mehta said that he had written many letters to the Chief Minister, Governor, district authorities and State authorities but no one cared on this issue. Now his party has decided to start an agitation against this scam where many bureaucrats are also involved with the land mafias.

Mehta informed that due to extremely hot weather the proposed divisional level rally of their party at Hazaribagh on May 15 has been postponed. Now we will fix a new date which will be after June 15th.

Mehta blamed Congress, BJP, JMM and AJSU specially for supporting the corporate houses. The corporate houses are involved in looting the state and due to their activities lakhs of people have been displaced in our State.

He blamed every party and leader who ruled Jharkhand guilty for not making any fruitful displacement and rehabilitation policy. He claimed that the left parties have always fought for the poor and they will fight for the displaced of this state. Very soon the senior leaders of left parties of the State are going to meet on this issue.

The CPI will launch a massive agitation from June onwards on this issue, he informed.
