long pending demand for land for office spaces of its own by banking fraternities in the Capital met when Chief Minister Raghubar Das made clear his intentions. Taking part in the SlBC meet on Thursday the CM informed the officials for allotting five acres of land for RBI and NABARD each.
“We are grateful to the CM for this and the SlBC thanks him. But had the land been allotted to SlBC as well and also to the banks for regional headquarters it would have been even greater,” said a SlBC official.
Though, location of the piece of land is not disclosed yet but with all possibilities it would be somewhere in Dhurwa area in HEC’s premise. Formal announce in this regards is yet to be made by concerned officials.
