lalu's political move will help BJP in Bihar: Rao

BJP’s national general secretary Murlidhar Rao on Monday said that the recent political move made by RJD chief lalu Prasad will only strengthen his party’s position in the upcoming Assembly elections in Bihar. Rao, talking to mediapersons in Ranchi on Monday, further reiterated that BJP under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to have a clear mandate in Bihar Assembly elections, following which the Congress party along with its allies will be washed out from the map of national politics across the country.

Rao was in Ranchi on Monday to inaugurate the two day training programme of 200 selected party officials coming from different districts and divisions to make people aware of party’s policies and agenda in order to prepare them to tackle negative politics in the Country. The training programme will be held at Sarla Birla School in Ranchi on Monday on Tuesday.

“The BJP through such training programmes will also think over determine the democratic directions across the Country,” said Rao. These trained officials will be taught how to make people aware of the achievements made by the state government as well as some of the positive steps being taken by the BJP government in the Parliament, he added.

According to Rao, proper monitoring of these programmes will also be done at various levels so that proper execution could be done effectively.

lambasting the recent incident of Congress President and other party leaders protesting inside the well of the house, Rao said that the party has involved itself into the act of damaging democratic values while opposing the BJP in the Parliament.

“The Congress party, during this monsoon session converting Parliament into ‘Jantar Mantar,’ has hurt the dignity of the house,” Rao said.

lauding the ‘Start-up India -Stand up India’ campaign announced by Prime Minister Modi from the ramparts of Red Fort on August 15 to promote bank financing for start-ups, Rao said that the party, in order to strengthen the position of entrepreneurs of women and Scheduled Tribes across the Country, will also think over to contribute positively in this direction.

Modi has announced that that each of the 1.25 lakh bank branches should encourage at least one Adivasi or Dalit as also one woman in their area in becoming an entrepreneur as a tribute to B R Ambedkar on the 125th birth anniversary this year.

Rao also claimed that the results of Bihar Assembly elections will be quite surprising and above the lines of caste and creed this time. “The BJP will get clear mandate in Bihar this time washing out the Congress and other it’s other allies from the national politics,” said the National Vice President.
