A team from Kolhan University will inspect Singhbhum College, Chandil to take stalk of infrastructure facilities of the college in order to re-start the Bachelor in Science course, an official of the university confirmed
The university had dropped the programme from the college citing reasons that the college does not have approval from the varsity. However, the matter was raised by Congress leader SRA Rizwi Chabban who protested the move and noted that fate of the students would be at risk if university fails to lift the ban.
“On the demand of Chandil residents, I spoke to the Vice Chancellor of Kolhan University. He informed that the University has formed a team that will visit the college on June 26 and based on the report the matter would be discussed during the academic council’s meeting on June 28 and syndicate meeting scheduled July 2,” noted Chabban. He expressed confidence that the BSC course would be restarted at Singhbhum College to ensure better future of the students.
