The Mela was held jointly with District Social Welfare Department and World Vision India, inaugurated by Deputy Development Commissioner Ravi Ranjan Mishra.

In adolescence, many new hormones develop and started to secret in the body of the young girl, especially during the time of period. At that time, girls should make their mother aware each and every situation and changes appear in her body, said DDC.
“At the same, mothers should also take special care of their daughters at that time and take care of the physical changes of their girl child,” he added.
The DDC urged the students to make their habit for rising in the morning for study instead of studying for late night. “It’s also good for physical and mental health,” he added.
Complimenting the organiser of the Mela, DDC said it will provide a good platform for awareness for the juveniles; teens should take advantage of this Mela.
