Kishore hails CM for clearance of roads in lWE region

Chief whip of BJP in Vidhan Sabha and Chhaterpur MlA Radha Krishan Kishore hailing chief minister Raghubar Das here on Tuesday said the CM has made it a point that no developmental work be it road or bridge would discontinue or halt because of any pressure or threat of the naxals as naxals all over the State are under reins and barring for some incidents in the past the state is set for developmental leap here under the leadership of Raghubar Das.

In the same vein Kishore said a more than 16 Km stretch of road in a highly left wing extremist hit area Chhaterpur – Khajuri – Belhara worth more than 16 crore has been sanctioned by the state government and on its completion here in two years ending 2020 this vital road will be a connecting road of two blocks Chhaterpur and Bishrampur.

Kishore emphasized that this road did exist but was in terrible condition as REO which had built this road was finding it hard to take care of it and hence as Kishore said he worked hard and got this road transferred from REO to PWD ( better known as road construction department RCD).

“No assembly constituency here has a fleet of PWD roads as this Chhaterpur constituency where PWD has networked nearly 200 Kms of road which is a kind of record in itself.” added Kishore.

Asked what difference does it make to a user of road if it is of REO or PWD as all that a user of road wants is that road should be good, wide, without potholes, ditches and trouble free to which Kishore said “ This is what I am pressing here that REO roads are a bit

narrow while PWD roads are wide and well maintained as there comes huge expenditures on it.”

This lWE hit area road will be 9 meter wide including its both sides flanks.

There is a security post at Khajuri and this will add to a sense of security for the construction agency here which will undertake this road. Kishore got one more sanctioned worth more than 26 crore between Udaigarh – Marwa – Naudeeha .

He said these roads would further help increase trade and commerce in the areas.
