Congress National President today launched the national party’s ambitious ‘Hath Se Hath Jodo Abhiyan’ from Pakur district of Santhal Pargana in Jharkhand. The campaign is set to be run across the country engaging people from all sections of society. During the programme Kharge addressed a huge public gathering and attacked the ruling BJP on several issues.

The Congress National President said that Jharkhand is an important state for the Congress party, which gives light to the country. If coal does not come out of Jharkhand, there will be darkness in the whole of India. Kharge said that today there is an atmosphere of hatred in the country, there is no employment for the youth, apart from unemployment, inflation is increasing. Earlier people used to take seven gas cylinders. But, today the situation is such that they are not able to get a cylinder refilled.

He said that PM Modi has closed more than 71,000 schools in the whole country. Those who repeatedly talk about the poor, today they are trying to destroy the poor. He said that he had raised the issue of Adani's property in Parliament. In which he had said that in two and a half years Adani's wealth has increased to 13 lakh crores. Adani is a friend of the Prime Minister. The reason for the increase in Adani's wealth is that Modi ji has given government money to Adani. In which LIC and SBI have money.

He said that Modi ji has given 82 thousand crores to Adani so far. “Modi ji has given contracts to Adani in the country as well as in the opposition. When we raised this matter in the Parliament, it was cut. Kharge said that Adani was thrown out when the matter was raised in Parliament. When we raised the issue of the poor, the speech was called unparliamentary,” he said. Where is the freedom of expression, he said. If someone speaks, writes or shows the truth, he is sent to jail.

The Party National President held the Modi government responsible for inflation, unemployment and poor economy. Targeting Adani, he said that this Government is not the Government of BJP or Modi, but the Government running on the instructions of Adani. The Central Government is working completely for Adani and efforts are on to loot LIC's money through Adani, he added.

Kharge said that the Government is doing complete injustice to the investors of India. Kharge said that in the last 60 years, the Congress government laid lakhs of kilometers of rail lines on which Modi is telling his achievement by running a Bharat train.

The Congress President said in his address that now the time has come, we need to work united. We have to show Modi ji that we are against his wishes. He said that we have a coalition government in Jharkhand which is headed by Hemant Soren. On the bye-election to be held in Ramgarh, he said that we have come here to seek people’s blessings.

JPCC President Rajesh Thakur said that Lok Sabha elections are to be held in 2024. Before the Lok Sabha elections, through this campaign, the party will go door-to-door to inform people about the shortcomings of the schemes of the Central government.
