Development Commissioner-cum-Additional Chief Secretary Amit Khare directed the concerned departments to establish video conferencing system at all block level offices to ensure presence of all block level officers in blocks.
He said this during a meeting of Rural Development, IT and e-governance Departments besides, ensuring better service delivery and better implementation of schemes at panchayat and block levels.
Directing the DCs, he said that district level meetings in which presence of block level officers is mandatory should be conducted through video conferencing. Khare also directed the RDD Principal Secretary to prepare a proposal for reconstitution of Human Resource Study of different staffs and observation officers working at panchayat and block levels to strengthen block and panchayat administration.
