Anticipatory bail application of Rama Khalkho along with the bail application of Niranjan Sharma and Sudheer Kuamar Sahu, accused in the money grab case was deferred till April 30.
The Investigating Officer in the case sought for more time for submitting the case diary before the court.
“As the IO did not submit the case diary on the ground of his illness, the case could not be heard by the court and the case was deferred till April 30,” said advocate of Rama Khalkho, Afsar Husssain.
The incumbent capital city Mayor and two others
are accused in the money grab case where Rs 21.9 lakh were seized by the police ahead of the Municipal elections in Ranchi.
The money was supposed to be distributed among the voters to influence the voters in support of Khalkho.
