The newly elected BJP MP from Ranchi and Jharkhand Khadi Board and Village Industries former chairman, Sanjay Seth was felicitated by Khadi board on Sunday. Seth after being elected as MP of Ranchi reached Khadi Board office for first time.
Seth speaking on the occasion thanks the board officials for their support during his stint as chairman of Khadi board, at the same time assured the board members of providing all necessary help and support in future.
Seth said, “Coming to Khadi board office is just tike home coming for me. I thank all the staff and board officials for their support they had provided me during my stint as board chairman.” “I will be ready for all help and support to board members and staff in future.”
Seth also talked about the various initiatives by him mainly people centric in Ranchi Lok Sabha segment. The Ranchi MP has decided to set up Samadhan Kendras at all six Assembly constituencies falling under Ranchi Lok Sabha segment.
The centre will act in addressing people issue such issuing birth/death certificate, submission of electricity bill and other public issues.
According to Seth, the main purpose of the Samadhan Kendras is to address and solve people problem at their door and they will be free from visiting Ranchi for small problem.
The Ranchi MP after being elected as MP has been visiting various areas in Ranchi parliamentary constituency as part of thanks giving mode.
Few days back, Ranchi MP had visited Piksa More where he reprimanded the officials of National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) for delay in construction of highway from Pandra to Piska More. He took up the inconvenience people face due to construction of highway as flying of dust has become a health concerns for residents of the areas.
The Ranchi MP during his visit to Khadi board met senior and junior officials of the board. The officials of the Khadi board also talked about the growth and development the board has attained during the tenure of Seth as chairman. It was Seth tenure that Jharkhand Khadi board entered into a deal with Amazon by which products can be purchased online within a month.
The move aimed to open up the global market for the products. Seth was chairman of Khadi board from 2016 to 2019 till be was made as BJP candidate from Ranchi Lok Sabha seat. Seth in the election defeated Congress Subodh Kant Sahay by the margin of nearly 2.88lakh votes.
The Jharkhand Khadi Board has 15 outlets 14 in State and one in Delhi. The board has centres across the State for producing Khadi goods. The board has production centres at Gumla, Lohardga, Palamu, Ranchi and other centres.
