For last two weeks, the Katkamdag block, the nearest block from Hazaribagh town, is headless. After the transfer of BDO Shankar Ekka, who was in-charge of CO too, no one has come to fill the vacancy.
Though the Government has notified in same letter that Nutan Kumari, BDO of Koderma, will be the BDO of Katkamdag block but she has not joined till date. Since the chair of BDO and CO both are vacant in this block so people are compelled to return empty-handed. Worst-affected are the students of the block who need certificates for the income, residence, caste and other certificates for filling applicationfor further studies or jobs. The people of Katkamdag block now want immediate posting of an officer.
