Leading ophthalmologists of the State and Directors of Kashyap memorial Eye Hospital, Ranchi, DR BP Kashyap, Dr Bharti Lashyap, Dr Bibhuti Kashyap and Dr Nidhi Gadkar today met President of India Droupadi Murmu, at Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi. The doctors discussed at length, with the First Citizen of India, about their vision of taking Retina and Cornea Superspeciality of ophthalmology to lesser privileged ones and about how to improvise further on our existing efforts of bridging the demand-supply gap in these visually crucial superspecialities. The President remembered the Diabetic Retinopathy camps, eye donation awareness activities (RUN FOR VISION) and Cervical cancer eradication camps organised during her tenure as Governor of Jharkhand.
