Kalpana Murmu Soren has put all her strength in Santhal Pargana. She is conducting an intensive election tour and meetings in Santhal. On Monday, she addressed four election meetings at Paurihat for Godda Lok Sabha candidate Pradeep Yadav, Pakur for JMM candidate Vijay Hansda and Shikaripada for Dumka Lok Sabha candidate Nalin Soren.
On this occasion Soren paid tribute to the immortal martyr Tilka Manjhi. She said, “I have come before you for my elder brother, INDI Alliance candidate, Pradeep Yadav. This is the revolutionary land from where Baba Tilka Manjhi fought the British with bow and arrow when no one had even dreamed of doing so. Even today the fight is the same against the exploiters, only the form has changed,” she added.
“Dishom Guru lost his struggling father in his childhood. After this he agitated against the moneylenders and provided rights to the people. We got Jharkhand only after the struggle of Dishom Guruji and many great revolutionaries. Today we proudly call ourselves Jharkhandi, this Jharkhand is their gift. This is the last phase of elections. BJP people have to be warned that here BJP will not be the party of big capitalists, but the Indian alliance of poor, tribals, Dalits, backward classes and minorities will run. Indians are coming to Delhi,” said Soren.
The party Leader said that today BJP has put Dishom Guruji's son Hemant ji in jail out of fear. “Hemant ji was giving rights to the people of the state, linking them with good education, ration, pension etc., this caused pain to BJP. Hemant ji got 1932 Khatian, 27 percent reservation for backward classes, Sarna tribal religion code passed in the assembly, but seeing all this the people of BJP became silent,” she added.
Soren said that women are progressing in the society, all this has happened because of Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar. “I was also happy in the service of my family, but just before the elections, these BJP people did the work of putting your son and brother Hemant ji, beloved by the people, in jail. His name is not there in the name of the land on which Hemant ji has been put in jail. The only reason for putting Hemant ji in jail under conspiracy was that Hemant ji drew a long and deep line in four years due to the work which BJP could not do in the state in the last 20 years. You people have the keys to Hemant ji's jail locks. Help get Hemant ji out of jail by voting for the candidate of India Alliance.
