The land Acquisition Bill is against the welfare of the farmers. So we won’t let the act be implemented in the State,” said JVM supremo Babulal Marandi. He was addressing the people of lohardaga at town hall during Nyay Yatra. Marandi while talking about the aim of the Nyay Yatra, said, “The Nyay Yatra has been started to do justice with the people of Jharkhand. This will continue till the public and farmers of the State get justice.”
Marandi also discussed domicile policy and said, “Along with the domicile policy, the recruitment policy should also be decided. JVM would bring people on road against domicile policy and land Acquisition Bill. The Central Government is trying to snatch the land of the public and give to the business bigwigs. The present condition of the farmers is worse.”
Marandi criticised the price hike of petrol and said, “The cost of petrol and diesel in Jharkhand is more than other States. The Gram Sabha is being neglected and the sand is being given by bid. The people of the Jharkhand should be aware about this. During lok Sabha election, PM Narendra Modi had promised for good days. But now, the prices are sky rocketing, the unemployed are not being able to get jobs, land is being snatched from the farmers and the public is being cheated everywhere. Our PM is busy in visiting foreign countries. He is not concerned with poor farmers’ problems.”
JVM secretary Sunil Sahu said, “We will not let them cheat our villagers and farmers. There would be justice with them. The State will be prosperous.” On the occasion, Veerendra Bhagat, Mohsin Ansari, Balmukund lohra, Sarwar Ansari and many others party members were present. The programme was directed by Mohsin Ansari.
