JVM to issue 'black paper' on State Government

Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (JVM) would come up with ‘black paper’ allegedly exposing the misdeeds of the incumbent BJP-AJSU combine Government at helm. The party on the occasion of Government’s two years of stay in power has also hurled corruption charges against it.

Speaking at a Press persons on Tuesday party principal general secretary and legislator Pradeep Yadav rated the tenure so far a complete failure. “We have decided to issue a black paper on January 14 exposing the Government on each and every count. These two years have been a complete failure for it. law and order situation is at new low, both the criminals and the police have gone out of control and even court rooms are not longer a safer place,” said Pradeep Yadav referring to recent incidents of crime such as rape and murder in the capital, firing at court compound at Jamshedpur and several killings and loot happened across the State.

The JVM leader also raised the issue of custodial death of Rupesh Swansi and police firings at Gola, Hazaribagh and Jamtara targeting civilians to boost his charges. “The police are firing and lathi-charging common protestors who were demanding some of their genuine rights about land and living. It seems that the Government has no faith at all in democratic principles and dialogue and is resorting to firing at the demonstrators. Even consent of villagers was taken fraudulently at Godda to acquire land for a private company. The acts of the Government are akin to Hitlarsahi,” charged the legislator.

He on the occasion alleged the Government for covering up and promoting corruption related cases. “The Chief Minister claims that there is not a single stain of corruption on his Government during the two years of stay. But I would like to mention here that he did not act against the Salt scam in which an Assembly probe team has submitted it report long ago. The MoU between NTPC and PTPS is a scam of crores.
