The Jharkhand Vikas Morcha along with left parties will extend support to the Ranchi Bandh called by Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee in the Capital City on Saturday. The Babulal Marandi led party today extended its support to the bandh releasing a statement on Friday that it is against the government’s failure to secure good health and security to common masses, especially in the wake of chidren’s death at State’s premier health institutions and the latest cases of deaths in the Capital City due to consumption of spurious liquor.
JVM supremo Babulal Marandi today alleged the Government for looting public money in the name of Smart City, liquor sell and land acquisition. “The situation is worse than Bihar times. Revenue of Excise Department has no idea about Rs 53 crore came out of liquor sell. HEC instead of retuning excess land to raiyats is doing a business out of it with the Government,” said the former CM demanding share for the land losers.
Meanwhile, the JPCC on the eve of Ranchi ‘band’ on Friday took out a torch-light procession appealing people for support against anti-people policies of government. Addressing the gathering congress leaders highlighted recent issues of deaths from illegal liquor and infants deaths at hospitals. They alleged that the government was spending money mindlessly on the visit of BJP president AMit shah, while, kids were dying in hospitals and pregnant women didn’t have nutritious food to eat.
