JVM demands fresh elections

Published on:

Jharkhand Vikas Morcha Prajatantrik (JVM-P) will hold a one day protest demonstration across the state at block offices demanding among other things dissolution of State Assembly and holding fresh election to form new Government.

A party man alleged that in four months of the President’s rule the State had not witnessed much development and the law and order situation had deteriorated. He also said that the President’s rule was not a common practice and should be replaced by a democratically elected Government taking the charge of the State.

To demonstrate against these “deteriorating situations” the party workers would stage the protests at 261 locations across all 24 districts of State.
