Ranchi Civil Court’s infrastructure would add another facility on the premises as Supreme Court Judge, Justice Anil R Dave on Saturday laid foundation stone for forty courts’ building which will include District Nyay Sadan and the Family Court. The building includes better facilities for visitors besides wider areas for the Civil Court to facilitate judicial activities.

The building will be a G+5 building spread in 25,000 square feet area on each of the floors and will house waiting halls on two floors for the visitors to the court.

“This is very happy moment that the construction work of court building has started on the birth anniversary of Subhash Chandra Bose. This is commendable step,” said the Supreme Court Judge.

The new infrastructure includes dedicated parking space which has been one of the prime concerns of visitors and officials of the court alike. The parking space would be a semi-ground floor structure for parking 50 four wheelers and around 100 two wheelers.

The six storied building will feature District Nyay Sadan and Family Court on the first floor whereas the second, third and fourth floors would house forty court rooms and a meeting hall will come up on the fifth floor. Chief Justice of Jharkhand High Court, Virender Singh praised the District Nyay Sadan for its excellent track record and asserted more facilities for the proposed building.

“The success rate of District Nyay Sadan is high and it is excellent among all. Year 2016 will be a year of excellence and two sub-division courts besides two ADR centres will be setup,” said the Chief Justice of Jharkhand High Court Virender Singh.

Construction work of the building will start with demolition of old magistrate’s building presently occupied by eight judicial officers and a makeshift arrangement will be done for the judicial officers.
